Hello Again

I'm back. I'm looking to reconnect. BP looks a bit different. I am going to have to learn how to use the forum again.

Three years out and I still feel blessed for having my life back. Maintaining for me is just as hard as weight loss phase. I'm in the 140's. Trying to get 15 pounds down. Losing weight is at a snail's pace.

looking forward to meeting new patients. I also hope to see familiar veterans.

Why do you feel you need to lose more? You look great

Hi I’m 4 years out and I agree it’s just as hard as the losing phase. This year seems to be the hardest for me. I’m sitting at 143 but really feel at my best at 132.
So much so that yesterday was my 4 year anniversary and today I decided to go back to 2 shakes and 1 high protein meal for dinner. I’m very scared that I’m slipping into some bad habits so I figure I’m going to hate the shakes so I’ll think twice before letting the weight creep up again.
Great to know that it’s not just me and my Husband that think this way. Welcome back

Just to get back where I'm comfortable.

Ok so just weighed in after a week of 2 shakes 1 high protein meal and lots of water and I’m down to 138. So the scale is moving in the right direction. The plan is to stick to this for another week and see where I’m at.

  • 2 weeks later...

Well we have to be vigilant because it never gets easy. I did shakes and a small meal for dinner and I lost just fine doing that. Then some event comes up and I over do it and gain 3 or 4 lbs back that it took me a month to lose. The farther out I am, the harder it is.

I'm down 2 pounds. I'm working hard to get to my goal. I'm trying hard not to give in on the holiday cookies etc.... I'm making healthy versions of my holiday foods.
