Are sugar free Jell-o vanilla puddings ok while on the 2 week pre op diet?

My surgeon had me take 4 servings of robard which included pudding. I was allowed to eat sugar-fee jello.. I did add sugar-free pudding too. I had my surgery on 10/2. It went fine. Good luck!

Usually the sugar free jell is permitted (zero carbs). But, the pudding is quite different. At 12g carbs per half a cup, it might be too many carbs for your program. Ask your team about what is permitted and target carbohydrate numbers.

To give you an idea, I was consuming about 45 carbs for the day on the preop diet, and that may well be at the upper end of what most programs allow.

That is true.. Should have added that part.

I brought a sugar free variety 24 pack that had pudding in it.. honestly I hate the after taste that jello leaves so u been doing the pudding instead
