It has begun.

My wife and I both signed up for gastric bypass surgery. Our first appointment with the surgeon and dietician was yesterday.

Approx. March surgery date. The insurance requires 6 months of monitored dietary progress. They want us to lose 25 pounds by then, which shouldn't be too hard. With all the water weight I have now, I could probably do half that in the next 2 weeks.

Wish us luck!

Congrats for both of you! My hubby is my main support but I want him to get the sleeve too. He has changed his eating habits and says that next year he may consider it.
