My surgery is scheduled for the 26th. I'm wanting to start packing my hospital bag as a way to stay busy. What did you pack or wish you had brought. I read Alot about gas-X strips but my nurse said my surgeon doesn't allow them. Other then that the only thing my class emphasized was chapstick. Our paperwork also said no cellphones within 6ft of the bed due to equipment.

Good luck!! Mine is on the 27th. I was also wondering what to bring. My paperwork didn't say anything about the cell phone being to close to the bed but it did say to make sure someone had them while we were in surgery so they weren't "missed placed" or lost.

My friend told me chapstick is a must and baby wipes to hand bathe yourself if you are in for a couple/few days. Dry shampoo too if u are on that their hair gets oily quick
