Itchy around cuts

I'm 4 weeks tomorrow post op. I finally took off all the white strip bandages and now I'm so itchy around the healing wounds. Any suggestions?

I'm close to 2 weeks post op and all the glue finally peeled off, one particular incision mark was really itchy and red around it so i put hydrocortisone cream around the incision and that took away the itchiness completely.

Itching is a good thing, that lets you know that the wounds are healing rather nicely! When mine started itching I rubbed them but did not use my nails to scratch them, you do not want to open up the incisions or where the trocar went in. I know it is hard to ignore but try to leave them alone as much as possible:)

Yes, itching is a good thing! I am 2 weeks post op and mine itch like crazy sauce. I sometimes just tap them since I dont want to itch them. Seems to help me! Good luck!

Congratulations! I know that mine did not last long but it was still a pain in the posterior! But it was something that I would gladly go through again if me meant that I would get the same results that I have had! About the only thing that I absolutely hated and have no desire to ever do again is the clear liquids for two weeks!:D
