Pains

I am three days post op and these gas pains are bothering me so much. Does anyone know how long these pains last for? Also, my stomach is so sore and hurts every time I get up. Is anyone else having or had this problem?

I had RNY and had gas issues for about 7-10 days. Remember you just had major surgery only 3 days ago. You will have pain getting up from your incisions because they cut through muscle and moving aggravates that. Your best bet is to walk, walk, walk. That eases pain and moves gas around and out quicker. Let yourself heal and don't over exert yourself to soon. You got this! You will feel better every day.
