I came across your forum on google whilst researching lap-band.

I'm Donna I'm 45 and I live in Brisbane Australia. Currently I weigh around 134kgs and have a BMI of 50.

I'm due to start the Optifast stage on Oct 30 and have the surgery on Nov 30. I'm quite excited and scared at the same time as it will mean a massive lifestyle change.

I look forward to getting to know everyone.

I'm from Sydney, should be getting a date for my op sometime this week - hoping to have it before the end of November. Like you I will have to start Optiyuck about 4 weeks before my surgery. There are quite a few Aussies hanging around this board and others so keep in touch.
