I don't think so. You can find all kinds of already puréed foods. If you think about it you'll be eating about 2 ounces of food three times a day - that's about 80 ounces in 2 weeks- not worth buying

I have both a Cuisinart and a Ninja - but I purchased the Ninja well before surgery to do shakes with. There is no reason you can't use the Cusinart, but you may want to puree slightly large amounts

Stick with the cuisinart for now, and if shakes become a lifestyle after 8-12 weeks, then upgrade.

I'm starting the pureed stage next week when I will be 2 weeks post op. Do I need a fancy blender? I have a cuisinart already and I'd hate to waste money if I don't need to. But maybe a Ninja blender would be good? I can not afford a vitamix.
