I hear you. I am 15 days post op and just started on purée. I have never been so happy to eat a scrambled egg. Hold on. You are almost there.

I just had some strained pasta figioli soup and I guess the thickness from The bean juice was very helpful. I don't feel like raging anymore. Thanks for the encouragement [emoji846]

  • I was also hungry shortly after surgery, despite being allowed to eat by day 4. Turns out my acid reducers weren't working and it wasn't really hunger but acid I was feeling.

Oh no! I thought this surgery was supposed to drastically reduce the hunger! ?

Yea, I wasn't really hungry either I was head hungry. Now I have to remind myself to eat but I want to eat food. Not soup. Food. lol I'll take it smooshed or whateverZ I'm having issues with slimy saliva all the time. If I think about eating something it happens sometimes. That can't be good. I've always been easily nauseated. Hopefully that nauseous feeling will go away.
