When to start going out and walking?

I am 5 days post RNY

I find myself getting very nauseated and clamy and lightheaded when i go out and walk.

I have 30 steps to climb to get to my apartment.

Today i walked around our local farmers market for about 15-20 minutes.

As soon as I got home i felt like i was going to pass out.

Am I trying to do too much too soon? Or is this abnormal?

I tried to go to the store 5 days out. Walking very slowly, and still felt like you did. It looked as if I was running a marathon. Take it slow. Stay hydrated is so important. I went back into the hospital for dehydration. You be able to get going soon enough.
