Incision

I am 6 days post op from Vsg and the only incision that hurts is the one that the stomach was pulled out of... it feels sore and almost tender. No redness, no heat, doesn't feel infected but def feels like a pulled muscle almost..... is this normal?????? Please help. I'm kind of freaking

Sleeves, I think this is normal. I am getting sleeved on July the 28th. My last preop appointment, the doctor told me to expect a "pulling" at the site they take the stomach out of. As a clinician myself, if you have no sings and symptoms infection, you should be fine.


I felt the same thing. Couldn't lay on my side for awhile it felt like it was pulling inside. Then one day I folded half a bakery of laundry that was on the floor in front of me on the couch. The use of muscles from bending over, I was sore for about 2 weeks after, so be mindful of what you're doing. After that I'd sit on the side of my bed with the laundry basket next you me.
