What I've learned since being banded

1) I know who was eating all the bread in the house now. I didn't think I was eating *that* much bread. I've bought two loaves for "my family" over the last three weeks, and one molded and the other went into the freezer.

2) My tummy is musical! Little funky rumblings is the name of my stomach's...(cough, choke) band.

3) Walking after eating is a good thing. I seem to digest things better with exercise. Go figure.

4) I have completely lost my craving for coffee.

5) Nothing "hurts" any longer. My hips, ankles, etc.--like OMG! Does losing weight actually make a difference? It's true!

Darr :)

You are so right! We don't realize how much our weight is harming us. I know that I didn't. As I get healthier, I know more and more that the band was the right thing for me.

I had to laugh at the post above me, that is so true, you screw up that first bite and if you're in a restaurant, you'll be taking the rest of that meal in a to go box, LOL.
