Is there anybody near Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area in PA who would like to chat. I'm completely new to the forum. I just started the pre-surgical work to have my procedure in January. I believe I'm going with the sleeve. I would love to make some new friends who can relate to this whole experience. Thank you!!

I'm over in Stroudsburg area. I started pre surgery in November and had surgery June 29th.

I'm still healing, but doing much better. I just started eating puréed food this week which was exciting.

That's awesome!! Congrats on your progress so far. I was really nervous starting this whole journey but now I am getting excited and can't wait for my procedure. Seeing how it works for everyone makes me feel a lot better about the choice I am making.

Hi, I'm in NY state, in the Catskills, but lived in PA years ago (Carbondale and then State College). I'd encourage you to spend some time on this site--there's a HUGE variety of topics discussed.
