Salads

I love salad. I know we are supposed to get our protein in first, then veggies and fruits, then carbs, but I'm wondering how many of you get a chance to eat a nice veggie salad with protein added. Is it tolerable or does it not go down well? I dont see it mentioned much.

I have one couple times a week. I have no problem with it. I use kale & spinach with grilled chicken. Sometimes i add quinoa to it and low fat cheesw.

5 months out and have just started eating my protein on a bed of spinach with a few carrots and sunflower seeds. I still measure everything out to equal 3.5 ounces. I LOVE salads and this has helped a lot. I eat it everyday for lunch now.

Well, I'm three years out so I eat a lot of salads as well as lots of protein. I think I was about three months out when I started eating salad.

I eat Cobb salads all the time. My hubby and I share one. I always make sure I get my protein in before I fill up on lettuce. I love lettuce wraps. I'm almost 6 months out.

I have a salad alone, by itself usually with no protein. Just baby spinach greens. It is one of my favorite snacks.

Salad with protein is my favourite lunch. I'm 4 months out and know how much I can eat at a sitting, so I measure out my protein and veggies and eat them together.
