I'll let you know in 8 days I will be on my purée phase about mid way through. I won't move onto solid foods until day 40, and I may take a few extra days on liquids, I've been getting nauseous quote

I'll let you know in 8 days ;) I will be on my purée phase about mid way through. I won't move onto solid foods until day 40, and I may take a few extra days on liquids, I've been getting nauseous quote easily :)
I'm looking forward to Kefir milk during purée [emoji4]

I'm 3 weeks post-op today and today I switched from purees to soft foods. Fish, canned chicken and turkey, ground beef (or turkey if you want), deli meat, soft and shredded cheeses, nut butters, cooked veggies, etc.

I'm 3 weeks post op today still on full fluids for another week then to reg. Food can't wait my daily intake is
Cream of wheat 1/2 cup for breakfast mid morning snack 1/2 cup of cottage cheese
Protein shake for lunch
Small yogart for mid day snack
Soup broth for dinner and a protein snack in the evening

Average around 550 cal and 75-80g of protein
I Haven't been of the scale this week but I'd say I'm down approximately 25 lbs

Here are some things I found to be especially helpful.

Immersion blender to puree chicken meat in broth or bone broth.

Greek yogurt, but watch the labels on that stuff. Aim for more grams of protein than sugar. Syggi's is a great brand around my area.

Premier Protein shakes (Costco). The powder is not the same formula, but the ready-made is a GREAT tool. Resealable, secure containers, and by far the best flavor experience of the 8 or 10 types I tested.

Also had some luck with pureed baby foods, but not much with protein options.

If you're tired of cottage cheese, try adding applesauce, or later on some fruit (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries).

Best of luck!
