The irony

I was dreading having to start this preop diet (which for me is just shakes, sf popsicles, and broth). Been on it for 9 days... now I'm dreading having to get off my shakes for the clear liquids on Sunday! LOL smh

:-) 4.5 weeks after my surgery, I'm traveling to participate in a charity 5K in support of a friend. We all went last year and stayed at the same hotel next to a well-known local truck stop/diner.

Every time I think about the trip, I get excited thinking about how delicious those mashed potatoes are going to be! That's about the only thing on the menu I'll be able to eat! Last night, I actually looked up their menu just to see.

Doing the walk 60+ lbs lighter than last year is going to be awesome though.

lol it's funny that we have to look up things before we get there but it's a smart thing to do! You'll feel light as a feather : )
