I have not been banded yet. I have just recieved insurance approval and I am excited and apprehensive at the same time!! I just signed up for Lapbandtalk last night. I hope to meet some great people and make some friends.

I am new to this site as well, and am approved for surgery although I am still waiting for my psych eval. I have posted several things, like questions about Vitamins and medication.

This is a really great site, the people here are very helpful with advice and suggestions.

Welcome Dan I am waiting as well. Saw my surgeon today and signed on the dotted line, just waiting to hear back from his secretary on a surgery date. I must say I was disappointed when he said it could be up yo 6 weeks away. I've been anxious as it is... overeating etc, need to take control soon otherwise could put on even more weight than I have already ... 5 lbs since my first meeting a month ago !! :help:
