I'm 6 days post op and still haven't pooped I'm taking a prescribed laxative and sipping lots of water but no joy I suppose that's contributed to me not losing anything post surgery. Please tell me it gets better!

Generally the week after surgery, you are on full liquids, therefore your body doesn't really generate poop. So constipation isn't really a problem at this stage. But it can become a problem after 2 or 3 months.
