Constipation

I'm 6 days post op and still haven't pooped:blink: I'm taking a prescribed laxative and sipping lots of water but no joy :( I suppose that's contributed to me not losing anything post surgery. Please tell me it gets better! :57_cry:

Generally the week after surgery, you are on full liquids, therefore your body doesn't really generate poop. So constipation isn't really a problem at this stage. But it can become a problem after 2 or 3 months.

Thanks for your reply! Yes I'm still on the liquid diet so I hope this is a temporary thing
