Went out

Well, I finally ventured out today. We went to the mall and saw Spider-Man Homecoming. Then we went to Red Robin where I had a cup of beef broth since I'm still on clear liquids. I was in a fair amount of pain towards the end, but think it was good for me to get out.

I find that is the toughest part, being around others who are able to eat what they like. My wife is the most conscious person when it comes to this but I always tell her it's fine. I find that it is tough to be around all of the good smelling foods that I used to love but I like the fact that I can be around it and not give into my cravings. It has gotten pretty rough a few times and I went into the other room while the food was eaten but only a few times. I'm only on day 4 post op and I feel that it's easier than when I was on my 2 week pre op because now I physically cannot consume it if that makes sense lol
