Swimming

Does anyone know when you can swim again. And what will it do if you go swimming to early? I'm 3 weeks post op today. Thanks

    Thanks for the advice everyone! My scars are closed but still puffy. I might just float on my raft around the pool and put my feet in! I am just excited cause I think I can get into my swimsuit again!

I had my 3 week post-op appointment today. My doctor cleared me for swimming. Since I do open water swim instead of pool, he just said to be careful and monitor my energy level. You should be fine.

I was told no immersion in water (baths out too) for 1 month post op. Will miss my aquatherapy for that month!
