Invited to wedding 3 weeks after surgery

Hi, I received a wedding invitation a couple of weeks ago. I am not sure how reply. My surgery is on July 17 and the Wedding is on August 5th. I have no idea if I would be ready to attend a wedding 3 weeks after surgery. What are your thoughts?

You'll be fine to go. I'm almost 4 weeks out and feel fine. I've been gardening, painting, shopping. Just remember to take snacks with you so you don't make bad food choices.

Thank you

I was 67 and walked the mall 4 days after the sleeve. I was in the hospital 8 hrs and was in no pain at all. I would plan on going and if you get the "flu" and can't make it, so be it. Trust me no one will pay attention to what you eat or not eat. Mingle and enjoy. Eat before you go.

I will still be on soft foods, not sure what is on the menu.

Just eat before you go and it won't matter.

You should be ok to go just plan your eating which will be almost nothing and no alcohol if it's that type of wedding.

It will be fun! Thank you for all of you input. I think I will eat before I go.
