I am from Sydney, was sleeved on 19th June so 1 month tomorrow.

  • I'm in Melbourne. Sleeve date: 22 August. I start protein shakes on 8 August. I'm feeling so impatient right now. I've been eating low carb for years now and concerned I will be one of those people

Hi. I'm new to the forum. I'm in Perth and have just booked my appointments with the psychologist, physician, dietitian and surgeon for August-September.

I've got no idea what to expect at the appointments!

Pre-op in Perth, Western Australia ??

Great to see a recent reply from Perth on this thread!

I'm new too and from Perth and am booked in for the end of October. I'm excited to get this all underway! I had to push my surgery date back, they wanted to schedule me in for early September but that was too quick to get the leave at work booked in, in time. So things move nicely and I'm sure you'll find the same!

I'm already making changes in my lifestyle pre-op like going hiking over the weekend and eating smaller meals (even avoiding dessert at my family's birthday dinner!) [emoji5][emoji5][emoji5]

Yup, I decided to do the same so then after the surgery people won't see me drastically change my habits. I'm trying to avoid making it so obvious that something is up. I don't want to attract questions.

Exactly! That's really good to hear. I think it's a good way to get your head around the lifestyle change as well! [emoji846]
