Hello all I'm get ready for my surgery date of July 11th and I need all details I mean what do I expect when I get home i will be alone will I be able to do for my self and how should i sleep what will pain levels be like when can I take a bath I want all detail be honest and don't hold back I'm so excited for this journey!!!!!!

Ask you dr, but I was told to walk around a bit to prevent gas and no baths at all, showers when cleared by dr:) good luck

I was told you can shower after 48 hours, back to the water. You have to get up and move around.

I could shower as soon as I got home, after 2 nights in hospital. You need to walk all the time. Try to have a friend stay with you if you can.
