Post op day 3

My first 2 days were rough. I just slept and hurt. I didn't have the gas pains, I was very achy. I drank nothing the first day and very little the 1st post-op day. My surgeon kept me a second day because of the poor fluid intake.

I'm drinking more today. Water, gaterade, and protein powder with water. And liquid Norco.... I'm going to assume I can consider that a fluid...he he.

My first 2 days were terrible too. I vomited more than once an hour. And slept thru just about everything- bladder scans, new IV starts, blood work, rounds, and visitors. Day 3 the pain set in.
Good luck to you!
