  1. I am about 4 years out from a sleeve, and I still have sad times from not being able to eat. It doesn't happen as much as it used to in the beginning. But food addiction is a real thing and it doesn't just go away because you have surgery. And it takes care not to transfer that addiction to something else because the food isn't there anymore.
  2. Yeah, I felt those things. As for dying on the table… You’ll be asleep then you’ll be dead so I don’t think it’ll affect you a whole lot.
  3. Nothing to do. Just let it go down. It may be that it has already gone down but your esophagus was a little irritated.
  4. TUMS and gravity. Prop yourself up while in bed.
  5. I had pneumonia twice in the first couple of month with another hospital stay. I am now 1/2 the person I was prior to my sleeve. I would absolutely do it again with the pneumonia!
  6. When the pressure didn’t hurt or make me wanna vomit. It will depend on how u heal.
  7. Yeah, water, a gentle stool softener of ok with ur surgeon.
  8. The first few months...oh my! And my urine looked like I was on kidney failure.
  9. Water, broth, and yummy jello!
  10. My wife and I met when I was 200 lbs. At 9 years later at 260 lbs I got a sleeve. At a year after surgery and 130 lbs we separated.
  11. I see it’s been a while since you post, OP. How did it turn out? I lost a few dreads. Now I have a mix of some being down my back and some being “babies “. LOL
