Tipping In Mexico? Feedback?

For those who traveled to Mexico:

Did you tip? Who did you tip? How much?

Someone mentioned it to me yesterday and it was a lightbulb moment. I hadn't thought about that at all and definitely want to show appreciation! Thank you in advance!

Thank you, Bill!

Tipping is a big part of Mexican culture. If you are further down from the U.S. border, tip in pesos. We gave the equivalent of $1-2 U.S. for dining, drinks, cleaning lady, valet etc.

When we're in Mexico, we try to tip as well as we can afford. $1-$2/ drinks, valet, taxi. We leave a little more for the hotel maid if we're there for more than a day & also a little more at meals.
