You can go online and look up your insurance requirements. Most insurances require bmi over 40 only for eligibility, comorbities are not required with a bmi that high.

I said nothing about the doctor knowing best, I gave the op the min. requirements for most insurance companies in regards to bmi and comorbities, because thats what they were asking about, not who would know best.
