Stomach pain

So I'm new to this whole gastric sleeve thing. I just had my surgery on May 11, 2017 & the pain I have every time I swallow is horrible... I'm down about 20 pounds in less than a week & im a little nervous I have a leak. I don't know if that's me being paranoid or not because I have only one of the 7 symptoms. It doesn't matter if it's water, tea, apple sauce, soup, it all hurts :( any remedies or advice? Please & thank you!

Are you taking tiny sips of water, et al? For the first 4-5 weeks after surgery I experienced pain if I took too big a sip, which really wasn't that big actually.

Yes down 20 pounds already! Is that too much? & the pain is right when I swallow at the top of my stomach.. & yes very little sips :(

Yes I have that pain also my dr said it's from the instrument they used it's where they cut me at it's sometimes feels like a stabbing pain but I noticed it's getting better try sipping from the one oz cup everyone is different so I would call the doctor just to be sure with the weight 20 lbs in 4 days is a lot

Call your doctor tomorrow explain the weight loss and ask is that okay you know your body pay attention to every detail keep a journal also I do. But your not the only having that pain I'm telling you. Ask ask much questions as possible someone could be experiencing the same as you. It's going to get better also I use a heating pad it helps to off and on not to hot though hope I helped out
