Post op day 4

Did great in the hospital. Had my shake no problem. Came home and ate a shake and pop cycle and spent the rest of Mother's Day vomiting. I was able to stop and sleep Monday and checked in with my surgeon Monday. I was better. I'm still better today just having some pain on my left side. Like gas pain but I haven't taken any pain meds today.

My husband is having bypas tomorrow and I wanted to be there for him but I'm not sure I'm up to it.

Where was everyone at this point?

How neat that you're doing it so close together with your husband. I'm glad you're feeling better and yeah for being off the meds. I've not had my surgery yet, so I don't have an answer, but I wanted to say congratulations on getting to this point.
