That is all I drink, you smile more! (There is no negative side effect that i am aware of). It might be more placebo than reality as far as health effects, but I prefer the taste regardless.

Speaking of side effects, I drank a whole bottle of alkaline water today and to my utter dismay I kept having to pee! Anyone know what that was about?

Depends on the PH level you start at, but you can work up to higher PHs. The body naturally adjusts your PH inside you body, but it seems you simply aid in the process, it also says it is a good antioxidant etc.., all pretty light science behind it. But the healthiest and most fit people I know drink, so I decided to.

So they have different ph levels for the water? If so which ph level do u suggest?

If you are buying at a grocery store, 9.5 is typical. If you are buying it from a water store, I always request the highest. 11ish.
