Swimming

Hi all. I'm three weeks out and wondering when I can swim. I forgot to ask my surgeon about it at my last appointment, and although I remember reading about it in my lit, I can't find it anywhere.

Any thoughts? My pool heater has warmed the pool up enough to go in and I'm dying to jump in! Gotta love Florida!

I do hydrotherapy at my spa (essentially a steam and water coffin), and they told me to wait 2 weeks post-op to resume that.

That being said, just give your team a quick call. Given that you live in Florida, I'm sure it's a question they get asked a lot.

I asked at my 2 week appointment when they took my drain out and was told I could in a couple days when the hole from the drain closed.
