Joy!

Had bypass 5 hours ago, and I feel great! Everyone has been so nice throughout the whole day! I'm sore, and I have pain in my chest from gas, I'm still a little dizzy, and so so thirsty, but I'm so happy to be on the other side of this process.

I was so nervous this morning, and reconsidering the surgery last night as i mourned never being able to eat 3lbs of food in one sitting again. [emoji20] [emoji47] [emoji22]

But this morning, I made up my mind to smile and be friendly to everyone. And that same attitude was returned ten fold!

It couldn't have gone better, and to anyone having the same worries and reconsiderations, don't stress. This is a rebirth to a new life!

Looking forward to starting my walks and getting my Liquids in an hour or so.

Good luck to everyone![emoji1]

What a great attitude! My surgery was last week, and I was definitely NOT feeling as happy and excited as you in the first few hours, lol. I'm sure with your positive outlook, you will do great on you

  • That's great!. I'm so happy for you. I'll say a prayer for you.

  • You're right, Meltsintowonder, not everyone has a smooth surgery, those were the experiences that kept me up at night. [emoji21]
