Day before surgery!

Hi everyone! So I am having my surgery tomorrow - which I am pretty excited and equally just as nervous about and I was wondering if your doc gave specific instructions on your diet for the day before surgery.

I was put on a 2 week liquid diet with Protein shakes/broth/SF jello/ice pops... but I keep reading some people having to do a CLEAR liquid diet the day before. Not sure if that's any different from what I am already doing or if it rules out Protein shakes and anything with color like Jello?

Please advise!

    My surgery is tomorrow too! I wasn't given any different instructions for today other than no food/drink after 11pm.

    My doc said no red or purple liquids 2 days before so to me that meant no red frozen pops... I have surgery Friday- Best Wishes!!
