stomach flu after gastric bypass?

Can anyone tell me what its like to have a stomach bug after gastric bypass? My whole family caught something last week that caused 24 hours of vomiting, last night they all came down with the same thing again. :(

I was hoping my pouch was immune to whatever they have, but now I'm thinking I'm getting it too.

    I am 5 months post op and recently had the stomach bug. It sucks. Vomiting hurt my pouch. Of course, once the pouch was empty, it hurt even more. And not being able to keep anything, including water, felt horrible. I didn't want to eat because I was afraid of the pain that came from it. I hope you don't have it, but good luck if you do.
