Hair Loss

My big question is how long will I have to deal this with hair loss???? I am right at 5 months...sleeved 10/3/16. Mine has been really shedding for about 3 weeks. And does it affect your eyelashes??? I swear mine are disappearing. And.....most importantly, when can I hope for some of it to start to grow back. I am so happy with every thing else that is happening, I hate to complain, but I would like to know when the light at the end of the tunnel will show up. Thanks for any wisdom you all might have.

I was talking with my hair stylist about upcoming hair loss (it hasn't started for me yet). I told her I am taking Biotin and she recommended I also take Biosil (not for prevention but regrowth). She said she's seen it have amazing results with clients who have lost hair. I thought Biosil had Biotin in it, but it doesn't do I'm taking both.

11 months out. I did loose hair for sure, and I don't feel like I could afford to, so it sucked. But I can see 2" strands growing back all over my head now. I didn't do any special shampoo or take any different pills until about a week ago, when I started 2 biotin gummies a day. So the hair was coming in already, but thought no harm in giving it a little boost. I am anxious to see how it fills in during the next year. Having to use powder to help fill in the gaps while it is so thin. Hang in there it will grow back.

You might want to look into a spray on filler for your hair it is very unnoticeable and makes you feel like a million bucks. I tried my moms because I have thinning hair on the top, so I tease it up to fill it out and then lightly spray over the parts where I could see my scalp. It's called my secret hair enhancer and is available online I believe. Made by Regency Cosmetics, Duluth, Ga.

Anyone else have this? In past weight loss attempts when I lost a lot of weight, I also lost hair. Right before my hair started shedding, I would find my scalp hurt, or like my hair hurt when I moved it. I looked it up and it's called trichodynia. It's like that feeling when you've had your hair up in a ponytail for too long then take it down. I was bummed when it started hurting day before yesterday. Here we go!

I am 5 months and 22 days out and my hair has finally slowed down falling out. It was falling out by the handful. I have been taking biotin daily since way before surgery.
