My favorite pureed meal was just plain ol chili ... I bought the Dennison's 99% fat free chili and pureed it with a little bit of water added in to get it liquidy.

Another favorite of mine was my "chicken enchilada" mixture. I found these little cans of chicken at the grocery store, called Valley Fresh, and each little can has 20 grams of protein. I pureed a can of that along with some green enchilada sauce and then nuked it in the microwave. Add a dallop of sour cream and voila!

Also tomato soup with cottage cheese is good too.

As long as you have a blender anything is possible! :biggrin1:

i have a 7 1/2 month old. i make all her food. i steam pretty much everything and then put it in a food processor. the other night my dh was jokin around how me and the baby will be eating the same things...and he is right. everything tastes really good, nothing added. i also do this to beef, chicken, pork for her to add to the veggies. rice too. for her i get it all pureed and then freeze it in ice cube trays, just the right size helping for her....

I ate a lot of baby food on my mushees stage. I know a lot of people don't like it, but *some* of it, I found quite good.

I didn't get any meal type stuff (like spaghetti or anything).

But I ate baby food green beans, butternut squash, sweet potatos (mmm), and bananas. I liked them all quite a bit.

So far im thinking chilli and mashed potatoes. Im just worried about getting protein, etc. My doctor hasn't given me any plans or shake information. Since my surgery ive been eating creamed soups three times a day and lots of water.
