A lot of us do. Are you taking a PPI like Pepcid, etc.? If not, and if the reflux you're having is a regular thing, I'd talk to your doctor about starting one. Protonix is a great one (prescription only) and is cheaper than buying otc ppis. If your reflux is only occasional, then I suggest an as needed antacid like Tums or Rolaids.

Apparently u til your brain tells your stomach to stop producing so much acids it will be a part of the sleeve.
I never had it before but have it now . Some had it before the sleeve and don't now.. I have no idea

I was taking prilosec, my surgeon starts it 2 weeks before surgery, I was sleeved on 12/19. He said i could stop 6 weeks after, i went to 8. Yesterday was the first day i noticed it. I have never had issues with Reflux or heartburn. I will speak to him about Rolaids, i was not aware i could use them. Thanks for the input.

Yes. All the time and non sugar sweeteners are the worst...I couldn't take the vitamins cause they got burped up with whatever I had eaten for the last 4 or 5 hrs coated with the color of the vitamins. Wine makes it bad. Anything greasy or spicy hot. Nuts are tough and I burp them up.
