3 days banded

got banded on Mon 24 Sept. have to say a lot less problems than I expected - I was weaker than I expected for the first 2 days, but no gas pains, no gas, the actual cuts hardly hurt. more of a sore throat than I expected from intubation.

all in all, no complaints yet. having trouble figuring out exactly what I can eat - have been living off of a single atkins shake and a lot of apple juice a day, maybe I'll try some broth tonight.

my surgery is in 4 weeks. Nice to hear about it from you. I think I wll feel the same. My throat hurt from the endscope for like 4 weeks....so thats what I am more afraid of. How do you feel now...4 or 5 days later????

I got banded on Sept. 25. I continue to have intermittent gas pain (left shoulder), but the rest of the pain has been pretty tolerable. I am just taking advil and tylenol and am doing fine.

I haven't been hungry, today probably the least hungry (isn't that weird).

I am not sure why, but every different clinic has different rules. My first week post op diet says I can have thinned out fluids (no thicker than milk) so I have been having Soups (thinned out with Water or skim milk), Protein shakes, popsicles and diet Jello. I have probably been averaging about 600-700 calories per day.
