How long does the Gas last?

Hi there,

I was banded on 9/20/08. I feel great! Except the gas is getting old. I walk, take gas ex, etc. Just lots of air bubbles in my tummy with nowhere to go...I feel them popping all day. When does it stop?

Thanks!

Days 6-7 were the worst pains (woke me up at night) but by the end of 2 weeks the gas was gone...:clap2:

I was banded this past Friday. I am having sharp pains in my left shoulder up to my shoulder blade and neck area. Also my left abdominal area. Hope this does not last too long. Any ideas besides the walking.

I've had a lot of trouble burping, but no problem at all farting - kind of embarrassing - I wish it were reversed!! The gas pains in my shoulder are almost gone, thank God! It was so painful. I go for my esophogram and then my post-op check up tomorrow. Hopefully all goes well!
