I was banded this past Friday. I am having sharp pains in my left shoulder up to my shoulder blade and neck area. Also my left abdominal area. Hope this does not last too long. Any ideas besides the walking.

HI Kim, Did you have trouble getting thruthe 3 weeks of liquids and mushies. How are you doing trying to bring normal food back into your diet? Glad to hear your are doing so well. That is terrific...Is it hrd to get out of the "diet mentality". Are you going to any support group? Trudy

HI, I am from Michigan too, Traverse City. I am looking at having surgery probably with Dr. Kuri. My insurance won't pay so I will have to be self pay and Mexico is probably the only way I can afford to do it. I am looking for fill doctors in Michigan. Who is Dr. Deol, where is she located? Does she take patients who have had surgery in Mexico? I would be very interested in hearing from Michigan people and any help you can give me regarding getting a fill doctor. :confused: Hi, I am new to this today, so not sure this is working. I have read many responses on your lapband talk. I am considering the surgery, probably in Mexico since I would be self pay. I would appreciate your input regarding your feelings about the surgery, are you happy you have had it,what Dr's. you would recommend in Mexico? I am happy to find this site. Very informative.
