I had the VGS, hernia repair and gallbladder removal. It took me 8 weeks to not have pain while walking. Most take just a few weeks. But you had major surgery. Don't expect it to just go away quickly. Someone said that each incision wound is like a stab wound, and then you have to heal from the whole "taking out 80% of your stomach" thing. lol! Give yourself time. Your tummy is healing and swollen. It's gonna need a little time to get better. But it does get better every day. Keep walking to work the gas out from your body and sip sip sip. Good luck and congratulations on doing this!!
