I've stuck to home brewed coffee for the most part, or Starbucks Double Shot espresso drinks in a can (the small like 5oz ones). They're lower-carb and lower-sugar. I've been tempted to try the sugar-free Redbull as I know I'm find with the carbonation (I've had a couple beers and did fine), but I know energy drinks can be harsher on the stomach, so I've been timid.

I was sleeved on Jan 20. I'm down 35 pounds and I live on sweet tea[emoji15][emoji15] that's my new vice

Does the sugar make you sick?
And I drink coffee, my nut said just replace it with the same amount in water, so 8 oz coffee= 8 oz water

In tea the sugar is fine, but I can't drink any other drinks that are sugary or it does make me sick. I'm not a coffee drinker.. I've tried but can't hack it.[emoji12]

I used to LOVE sweet tea, my NUT made me give it up and said make my own with no cal sweetener. So far it's been a fail because I have the chemically taste. I'd rather drink real sugar, but since I can't I just haven't had any sweet tea sadly:/

What does everyone do for caffeine after surgery? Is Water the only thing you drink
