Sore Throat and Headache

Surgery is scheduled for next Wed 2/15 and I do not want to get sick. I feel like my throat is sore and still have a headache. No fever or anything. Any recommendations?

Congrats on your surgery date best of wishes there ???? & im a sucker for always going to my dr for every little thing ? But because you have such a big date coming up; if it were me I'd schedule to see my dr asap or go to an urgent care because I know there's a lot of illness going around everywhere right now so I'd try to get whatever it is under control before it really starts. But if you don't want to go through all that trouble do your basic household remedies or over the counter medications, stay warm if your in a colder state & best wishes again with everything ?

I had my sleeve on 1/17 I had been sick for two weeks before my surgery ,the day of still had a cough ,as long as I didn't have a fever I could have the surgery.
