I have been over weight for what seems like forever. I am 5'9" and heavy weight of 282. I am down to current weight of 260 with a goal of below 160. I am so ready for this! I had a heart attack on 7/9/2015 and have several other health problems as well. Arthritis in my back hinders a lot of activity and I am looking forward to that improving with less weight to carry. All pre surgery testing scheduled for 2/14/2017 :) any advice on the clear liquid diet would be appreciated. I have chosen a few different Protein drinks to get me through so I should be good there. Any other February 2017 R N Y patients out there?

Yay!!! I got my date last week and had planned on 2/20 but settled on 2.28 so my mom could be here. I'm so ready - I've always been athletic and still play softball weekly and do kickboxing but thanks to PCOS and other stuff it's hard for me to lose weight. I'm about to be 32 and need an extra tool in dropping weight with the main goal of getting pregnant for the first time shortly. I recommend Unjury protein drinks and their chicken broth and u flavored protein to help get your protein in. I wonder if there is a good forum for the 2 week pre op diet anywhere ...... good luck!!!!
