Preop diet cheating

Hello everyone,

I hope all is well. I have to say that I am very excited because I have my surgery date scheduled for February 8th which I know is right around the corner. But I have some concerns concerns because I have cheated a little on my preop diet. I was supposed to have started it on the 25th the Liver Shrink but I have run into some trouble with eating food that I'm not supposed to. Not every day but I did for the first three days because our family plumbing was out and there was no way to really cook the food I needed. I am back on track but I am just worried that it will be an issue with my doctor. Just wondering if you guys had any advice. I'm wondering if I should notify my nutritionist about it and let my surgeon know. I just don't know what to do. Thanks in advance.

It shouldn't be an issue. Just stick to the pre-op diet now and you should be fine. Three days is not enough to have to notify your nutritionist IMHO.
