Restaurants

I'm six weeks now and finally get to eat more than just ingredients, yesterday I had actual guacamole! Sanity restored.

I can say that from now on I'm packing a little bowel or measuring cup in my purse.

I've only eaten in restaurants twice since surgery and both times over ate. Both times I was loving the food but distracted by the conversation And didn't stop at 3oz. My belly doesn't ever feel hungry or comfortably full. I go from normal for me to want to puke. Lesson learned. Twice now.

  • Do you order a starter when you are out or a main meal? I order a starter, halve it, pop it into a tupperware container and eat the rest. That way I can finish the rest later in the day. Kate

Do you ever get any signs that your full at all? Like burping or anything that you notice?

By the time the burps started it was too late, way to late.
I'm just curious because I hear people say that you won't have a full filling, but some have signs of when enough is enough before getting sick
