Normally I will have a small burp or two! Your body will talk to you! I could not gulp! I guess I was afraid ! I still don't and I'm hitting 7 weeks post-op

I had SIPS surgery, but part of that is sleeve. I feel the same way. I don't gulp but it is fairly easy for me to get my liquids. I'm able to finish a 20 oz Water bottle in a little over an hour (I see some take an hour to try and get 8 oz. I do have the signs though when I've taken too much at a time or haven't had enough time between my sips I burp a lot sometimes get minor gas pain in my chest, or feel bubbles in my stomach.

I felt/fell the same way.. still do at 4 weeks out. . Yesterday was a hungry day... felt like I was eating almost every hour. I'm of course eating 3 to 4 oz at a time, but felt like it was just going right through me.
