I'm 15 days post-op, and for the last 2 days I've had this gross, uncomfortable "gas" feeling in my chest when I eat or drink. Has anybody else dealt with that?

Yes. I had an upper gi and they said it is gerd. I had gerd before my sleeve, but the sleeve made it much worse.

What can I do to get rid of it?? I use Gas-x strips.

I'm 3 weeks out and have figured out that when I get that feeling, it is due to how much I swallow and how fast. Change up how much volume you're eating and swallowing. I've found the slower I eat and the less I swallow at a time seems to really lessen the "Gas Bubble" pain. Just listen to what your body is telling you. Good luck!

My doctors put me on like 3 different medications for it and told me to eat 6 small meals a day. It's helped tremendously.
