Inflamation in the stomach

I'm curious. Is stomach inflamation par for the course? During my endoscopy they found inflamation in my stomach. They took biopsies but that was many weeks ago. I'm sure if it was anything serious or requiring meds that I would have heard something. Has anyone had any experience with this?

I had inflammation in my stomach too. It turned out to be h pylori & apparently I had an ulcer at some point in the past. The h pylori treatment protocol delayed my surgery by a few months, but I was very relieved to get it treated (it can cause stomach cancer!)

I've had it. It can also be caused by bad GERD. Mine didn't require treatment beyond what I was already taking. I wouldn't be concerned if your doctor wasn't concerned.
