Oh the joys of weight loss hormones. Us woman just get ALL the fun!

So on top of everything, you know, the emotionally massive act of removing our stomach and changing the way we live our lives to almost it's core, we also have to deal with the extra hormones our bodies are flooded with post surgery. I think I read here that woman are like 3xs as fertile after weight loss surgery because of the hormones.

Anyway I think you have to perfectly natural and normal things happening:

The effects of what we've done, which means our means of self-soothing are gone mostly and we can't make ourselves feel better like we used too and

The hormone effect.

So what I did was just ride it out. I cried, I got angry, I felt the emotions as they came and rejoiced when I started feeling happy and normal again. It was hard.

Hang in there, it gets so much better but first we have to go through the rough stuff.
